Ascender
Cerebral Palsy Alliance
Ascender needed a tool for CPA employees, cut-out-and-stick style schedules in PowerPoint – an unexpected but essential challenge.
Ever tried turning PowerPoint into a client engagement tool? Ascender did, and the canvas was a schedule template for Cerebral Palsy Alliance. Imagine daily and weekly schedules, cut-out-and-stick style, helping CPA employees and their families find structure and clarity during lockdown. Here's how Timplates turned PowerPoint into a therapeutic design for a noble cause.
The Challenge
Ascender, the Sydney-based design wizards, needed a template that went beyond aesthetics. This wasn't just about pretty slides; it was about creating a tool for CPA employees, a lifeline during lockdown. Cut-out-and-stick style schedules in PowerPoint – an unexpected but essential challenge.
Our approach
Cutting and sticking in PowerPoint? Challenge accepted. Stickers were born – movable, resizable, and ready for a dance across the schedule. Default snap to features ensured perfect alignment, even in the virtual realm. Notes, prompts, and instructions accompanied each sticker, making it a therapeutic experience.
Completed schedule masterpiece? Print it out, stick it up, or PDF and share – the power was in the user's hands. The goal wasn't just to create a design; it was to offer a tangible tool for structure and support.
